This is the story of our twin girls, Sydney and Carynne, and their struggle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. They struggled with the genetic disease for 5 1/2 months before losing their battle in February 2009.

This was us, last Thanksgiving. I love this picture!
That picture is gorgeous. I'm sorry the topic at Thanksgiving was so insensitive. I totally understand how close chronic illness can bankrupt a family. It's hard for people to truly understand sometimes... Love to you.
