This is the story of our twin girls, Sydney and Carynne, and their struggle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. They struggled with the genetic disease for 5 1/2 months before losing their battle in February 2009.

Amelia saw a rainbow for the first time the other day and this morning asked, "Mama, do you remember that rainbow? Will Sydney & Carynne get in trouble for coloring on the walls in heaven?"
